P E R S O N A L I T Y
Personality :
Mission is very aware of her own disadvantages and is very self-conscious about them. She'll sometimes try to mask her insecurities with tough talk, but it rarely holds up for long. Mission can be easily intimidated by those larger than her, but at the same time she doesn't like being alone.
She tends to be very negative and demonstrates a lack of self-worth, with the genuine belief that she doesn't deserve anything. As such, any positive actions and reactions toward her tend to catch her off guard. She's tried to unlearn this mindset, but something usually sends her spiraling back into it at one point or another.
Towards friends Mission is very loyal and more open with her thoughts and general concerns, but still might appear emotionally distant. With even closer friends she can come off as a bit possessive, but this is merely the result of a fear of abandonment. Once thoroughly reassured that she won't be left behind (though few have gotten to this point with her), she'll usually become more relaxed and trusting.

Dislikes : Being in charge, fighting, arguing, hot weather, sleeping alone
Character Arc Goal : Mission's ultimate obstacle is overcoming her feelings of self-loathing and worthlessness, and realizing that she's not a burden to those around her.

History :
Mission left her birth pack with her two brothers, Paw and Nuka, around the age of one and a half. While Nuka split from the group to search for a mate, Mission and Paw focused on finding a suitable home. They eventually stumbled across the Shadow Creek pack, and joined. The pack was led by a while wolf named Luna, who was well respected and liked among the pack. They spent most of their days goofing off and growing close, while their territory was something of a safe haven to all.
But their existence soon grabbed the attention of a rival pack, who began acting aggressively at their borders. At first it was scouts in small numbers, but then a larger group came, with the sole purpose of killing Luna. The attack came without warning, and there weren't enough Shadow Creek wolves to defend. Mission, meanwhile, was afraid to stand up to the rival pack and potentially lose her life, unlike her packmates. She hid in the bushes and trees, and watched her leader be killed in front of her.
Mission's cowardice and inability to protect her own pack created feelings of doubt and a strong sense of self-loathing. She started to become distant, but still relied on her packmates. A wolf by the name of Akela stepped up to lead the pack, and it was around this time that Mission and Paw were reunited with their brother Nuka, whose romantic passage had been fruitless.
The ruthless attacks from the rival pack didn't stop, and Akela soon fell just as Luna did.
Their third dominant was a wolf named Ayme. She sought to move the pack to a safer location, but just before reaching their new home, she died in battle against another pack. Paw died protecting her, and Nuka was so distraught by his death that he left the pack. With Paw dead and Nuka gone, Mission felt like she'd been abandoned by her only two remaining friends. Still, she stayed with Shadow Creek.
Their fourth dominant, a jet black wolf by the name of Legacy, managed to successfully relocate the pack as Ayme had wished to do. Finally, the Shadow Creek wolves experienced some peace and quiet. But Mission wasn't happy. Their struggles had changed her packmates - she'd noticed they'd become more aggressive, even going so far as to rough up other packs almost unprovoked. They still welcomed her, they still treated her like family, but Mission got the sense it was simply because she was an old friend. She began to feel like she had no place in this new Shadow Creek, and eventually, she left.
